About
Hi, I’m Lakpriya. I build AI mobile apps people trust.
I’ve been shipping mobile apps since 2018. Today I’m an Associate Technical Lead at Rhino Partners, a Singapore consultancy, building fintech apps for Australian and Singaporean companies: card provisioning into Apple Pay and Google Pay, biometric security, and the CI/CD that gets it all into the stores.
Alongside that, I build my own AI apps: VisChef, Tasklio AI, MemeFrog and Sparkle AI, all live on iOS and Android, plus WheresNow, a family location app with more than 200,000 installs. I also completed an MSc in Advanced Software Engineering with Distinction, with a research paper published at RANLP 2025.
I’m from Sri Lanka and based in Saga, Japan, and I work remotely with teams anywhere. I also answer questions on Stack Overflow (5,400+ reputation) and publish open-source tools for AI-assisted development.
How I work
Treat money with care
Years of building payments and card apps taught me that security is the feature. I build it in from day one.
AI that earns its place
Snap a fridge and get a recipe, say a task and have it sorted. I add AI where it removes work for the user, and keep it fast and affordable to run.
Ship through CI from day one
Codemagic or GitHub Actions pipelines for both stores, separate QA and production tracks, and signed builds from the first week, so releases are routine.
