5-hour and weekly, together
Two nested arcs show both windows at once — the tightest outside, the other inside — with weekly in a lighter shade so you can tell them apart.
5h 42% · Week 18%
BurnArc puts your 5-hour and weekly limits in the Mac menu bar, on your iPhone, Apple Watch and widgets. It projects when you'll hit the wall, tells you before you do, and lets you know the moment you're back.

BurnArc reads the numbers Claude Code already prints to its status line. Nothing to log in to, nothing to paste.
Open BurnArc on your Mac and pick your profile folders — ~/.claude, ~/.claude-work, as many as you use. One click installs a tiny status-line hook. Keep your own status line, ccbar included, or switch to BurnArc's.
Two live rings and a number — 83% or 83% · 1h32 — follow your tightest limit. Click for every account, window, pace and run-out time.
Scan a QR code from the Mac. Your iPhone, Apple Watch and widgets pick up the same numbers over your Wi-Fi, or through your own iCloud when you're away — no account.
Built for people who live in Claude Code and would rather not find out they're out of usage halfway through a refactor.

Your average burn since the window started tells you when you'll hit 100% — the same estimate as ccbar. Shown only when it lands before the reset.

A tick on every bar and arc shows where you'd be if you spread usage evenly. Ahead of the tick means you're burning fast.

Get notified when a window passes 50, 75, 80 or 90%, when it runs out, and when it resets — once per window per cycle, never spammy.

runs out in 44m
BurnArc projects run-out from your average burn since the window started — the same estimate ccbar uses. Drag the sliders.
The white tick is even pace. Past it, you're burning faster than the window lasts.
There's no BurnArc account and no BurnArc server. Ever.
BurnArc never sees your Claude password, OAuth token or API key, and never calls Anthropic's APIs on your behalf.
Only usage percentages, reset times, your account labels and the live session's model, effort, cost and project folder are shared with your iPhone. Prompts, replies, transcripts and session IDs never leave the Mac.
Mac to iPhone over your own Wi-Fi with TLS and a per-phone pairing key you can revoke, and through your private iCloud, end-to-end encrypted, when you're away. iPhone to Watch over Apple's WatchConnectivity.
The Mac app runs in Apple's sandbox, only touches the profile folders you choose, and is notarized by Apple. No analytics, no tracking.

The iPhone and Watch apps get their numbers from BurnArc on your Mac, over your Wi-Fi or your iCloud. Version 1.0 is for iPhone; iPad support is planned.
No. BurnArc never asks for your Claude password, OAuth token or API key. It reads the usage figures Claude Code already gives its status line, through a small hook in the Claude Code profiles you choose.
Yes. The hook records the status-line data, then runs your existing status line command with the same input, so your terminal looks exactly as before. Or switch to BurnArc's own status line instead, per profile, and back again. Uninstalling restores your original setting.
Claude Code runs on your Mac, so that's where the usage numbers are. The Mac app shares them with your iPhone over your Wi-Fi or through your own private iCloud, and the iPhone passes them to your Apple Watch. There's no BurnArc server in between.
Claude Code reports plan limits for Pro and Max subscriptions, so that's where BurnArc shows 5-hour and weekly windows. Other accounts appear with no plan limits reported.
From your average burn since the window started: what's left × time elapsed ÷ what's used — the same estimate as ccbar. It's shown only when it comes before the window resets.

No. BurnArc is an independent app by Lakpriya Senevirathna that works with Claude Code. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.
